Data sources
Every item on the map carries its source and update time. This page lists each source, how often we pull from it, whether it is currently healthy, and the licence its data is published under.
How freshness is labelled
Live feed — polled every few minutes directly from the operator. Refreshed periodically — the upstream feed itself is rebuilt on a schedule (for example every 15 minutes). Delayed — satellite or third-party data that arrives hours after the event. Historical — past records; never a description of the road right now. Reference data — things like charger locations that rarely change.

Base map
OpenFreeMap + OpenStreetMap
Vector tiles from OpenFreeMap, built from OpenStreetMap data (ODbL). Place search uses OpenStreetMap's Nominatim within its usage policy: only when you press Enter, and cached.
What we don't do
No data is fabricated or interpolated. Nothing periodic is labelled live. Historical collision counts are never shown as a prediction of danger. Camera images are relayed exactly as the operator publishes them and cached briefly to avoid overloading public servers. No advertising, no accounts, and analytics record only which features are used, never who used them.
